Avicopter: Awarded the world's first production license for a 2-ton eVTOL aircraft.

Recently, the China Civil Aviation Administration of East China (CAAC) granted the V2000CG Unmanned Aircraft Production License to Fengfei Aviation, with the license number PC0080A-HD. This is the world's first production license for a 2-ton eVTOL, marking an important milestone for the V2000CG Kerry Bird model entering the mass production stage and the solid step towards the industrialization development of 2-ton eVTOL unmanned cargo aircraft in China.

The V2000CG has a maximum takeoff weight of 2 tons, powered by pure electricity, unmanned, and its carrying capacity is equivalent to that of a small helicopter. It is mainly used for low-altitude logistics, emergency material transportation, and emergency rescue, with customers including large logistics companies, general aviation logistics service providers, emergency rescue service providers, and government departments. With the acquisition of the V2000CG production license, Fengfei Aviation will further promote the mass production, single aircraft certification, and delivery after-sales work of V2000CG and actively promote its commercial applications, dedicated to providing more efficient and environmentally friendly transportation solutions for the global air logistics industry.

Fengfei Aviation is one of the earliest technology companies to enter the eVTOL race. Since its establishment in the Kunshan Tourism and Leisure District in 2022, the company has maintained a strong development momentum, continuously innovating in product design, research and development, certification, and application landing in areas such as logistics and transportation, and has achieved the application of vertical takeoff and landing technology in multiple scenarios.

In February 2024, Fengfei Aviation's Shengshi Long eVTOL electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft completed the world's first cross-city and cross-sea (Shenzhen to Zhuhai) demonstration flight. In March 2024, Fengfei Aviation's V2000CG obtained the type certificate from the Civil Aviation Administration of China. In May 2024, the V2000CG unmanned aircraft completed a special flight at Pudong International Airport, and the same month, it completed its first overseas flight in Abu Dhabi, covering more than 120 kilometers in a high-temperature environment. In early August 2024, Ningde Times and Fengfei Aviation signed a strategic investment and cooperation agreement worth hundreds of millions of dollars; on August 1, 2024, Fengfei Aviation's Shengshi Long eVTOL electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft completed its first flight across the Yangtze River. In November 2024, Fengfei Aviation's 2-ton eVTOL electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft successfully tested in Okayama, Japan, marking the first flight of a 2-ton eVTOL in Japan.
