iRhythm Technologies published a real-world evidence study, AVALON, in the American Journal of Managed Care. The study evaluated a younger, commercially insured population and found that the Zio long-term continuous monitoring (LTCM) service had the highest diagnostic yield, lower likelihood of cardiovascular events, and faster time to diagnosis compared to other studied ambulatory cardiac monitoring modalities and services. The study confirms the clinical superiority of the Zio LTCM service across patient populations and payer segments, building on findings from the CAMELOT study.
