Atour Lifestyle Holdings, a Chinese hotel operator, reported a rise in Q2 revenue, driven by growth in its hotel and retail businesses. The company's hotel network consists of 834 hotels across 151 cities in China, with over 96,969 rooms. It also offers a range of branded hotels, including Atour, Atour S, and Atour X, and rents hotels to third-party lessors.

Atour Lifestyle Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: ATAT), a leading Chinese hospitality company, reported robust financial results for the second quarter of 2025. The company's net revenues surged 37.4% year-over-year (YoY) to RMB2,469 million (US$345 million), while net income grew 39.8% to RMB425 million (US$59 million).

The company expanded its hotel network to 1,824 hotels with 204,784 rooms as of June 30, 2025, representing increases of 29.2% and 26.7% YoY respectively. The hotel segment achieved a 76.4% occupancy rate and an average daily room rate (ADR) of RMB433. The retail business showed exceptional growth with gross merchandise value (GMV) increasing 84.6% YoY to RMB1,144 million.

Atour's hotel segment, which includes branded hotels like Atour, Atour S, and Atour X, as well as rented properties, contributed RMB1,299 million (26.5% YoY growth) to the company's revenue. Meanwhile, the retail business, which now contributes nearly 39% of total revenue, up from 30% a year ago, saw revenue surge 79.8% to RMB965 million.

Despite the strong growth, there were mixed signals in the operational metrics. While the company expanded its footprint significantly, both ADR (RMB433 vs RMB441) and occupancy rates (76.4% vs 78.4%) declined YoY, resulting in lower revenue per available room (RevPAR) (RMB343 vs RMB359).

Atour's strong cash position, with RMB2.7 billion as of June 30, 2025, and its development pipeline of 816 manachised hotels, positions it well to sustain its growth trajectory. For full-year 2025, the company expects total net revenues to increase by 30% compared to 2024.
