Atomera Incorporated plunged 28.97% intraday after reporting a net loss of $5 million for the second quarter, exceeding analyst expectations of a $0.14 loss per share and widening from a $4.4 million loss a year ago. Revenue dropped to zero from $72,000 a year ago, with the first six months of the year seeing only $4,000 in revenue, a 96% decline, reflecting stalled technology commercialization progress. Cash and cash equivalents fell to $22 million as of June 30, 2025, down from $25.8 million at the end of 2024, with operating cash flow net outflow of $8.3 million in the first half of the year.
