Assam's BLT Cadres Receive Rehabilitation Package of Rs 2 Lakhs

The Assam government has distributed Rs 2 lakhs to 422 former Bodo Liberation Tigers (BLT) cadres as part of a rehabilitation package. These cadres hail from outside the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) and were left out for rehabilitation. The distribution is part of a larger effort to rehabilitate former cadres of various militant groups, with over 9022 former cadres joining the mainstream since 2020.
