Aspesi, the Italian fashion brand renowned for its minimal chic design and essential urban wear, is gearing up for a new chapter in its history. The Armonia fund, which acquired a controlling stake in 2017, has announced the appointment of Alessandro Pescara as the new CEO, succeeding Simona Clemenza.
Pescara brings a wealth of experience to the table, having previously held CEO roles at Vist and Borbonese. His expertise in driving growth in both B2B and B2C markets is expected to be invaluable as Aspesi continues to expand its reach.
Clemenza, who has been with Aspesi since 2019, has made significant contributions to the brand during her tenure. Under her leadership, Aspesi opened a flagship store in Tokyo's luxury Aoyama district and a pop-up shop at the Ginza Six department store.
Pescara's appointment comes at a pivotal time for Aspesi. With the DKNY and Karl Lagerfeld businesses set to transition back to PVH Corp. by the end of 2027, Aspesi is poised to become one of the standout brands in the Armonia portfolio.
The Armonia fund, which has been instrumental in the growth of Aspesi and other brands such as DKNY, Karl Lagerfeld Paris, and the remaining global Karl Lagerfeld business, has expressed confidence in Pescara's ability to drive the brand's future growth.
Aspesi, which was founded in 1969 by Alberto Aspesi, currently operates 28 monobrand stores and has a strong wholesale network. With Pescara at the helm, the brand is sure to continue pushing the boundaries of minimal chic design and essential urban wear.
