Aptos Digital Wallet Sees 100% Transaction Volume Surge

Aptos has launched the "Aptos EXPO Commemorative Stamp Event" as part of the official EXPO2025 digital wallet's mini-programs. This initiative aims to provide World Expo visitors with an engaging and user-friendly way to interact with Web3 technology, promoting its real-world applications.
The digital wallet has demonstrated significant growth since its inception, with a nearly 100% increase in transaction volume and new Aptos accounts in May. This surge resulted in 1.28 million transactions and 271,000 new accounts, highlighting the wallet's popularity and effectiveness.
The event is structured into two phases. The first phase, running from now until June 30th, focuses on the entertainment sector. Collaborating projects include Mereo, Rewardy, Storychat, and Tevi. Participants can earn digital stamps (SBT) by completing designated tasks, which can then be used to unlock exclusive rewards. Additionally, participants have the chance to win a lottery prize of 500 yen equivalent Expo Tokens, further incentivizing engagement with the event.
This event not only drives user engagement but also serves as a practical demonstration of Web3 technology's potential. By integrating digital collectibles and interactive tasks, Aptos is making Web3 more accessible and appealing to a broader audience. The success of this initiative could pave the way for more innovative applications of blockchain technology in everyday life, fostering greater adoption and understanding of Web3 among the general public.
