• Apria Healthcare Q2 revenue up 5% to $359.6mln • Net income $29.1mln, down from $29.4mln in Q2 2003 • Digital data not specifically mentioned in the article.

Auna, a leading healthcare platform in Latin America, announced its first-quarter 2025 financial results, highlighting a mixed performance across its operations in Mexico, Peru, and Colombia. The company reported adjusted EBITDA growth of 1% FXN year-over-year (YoY), despite a 3% decrease in consolidated revenue to S/1,042 million [1].

Revenue in local currency decreased 4% in Mexico, 10% in Peru, and 5% in Colombia. The Peruvian healthcare network benefited from increased demand for surgeries and membership price adjustments for medical inflation, while Colombia's risk-sharing models with payors supported growth amidst lower demand for event model contracting of services with EPSs. Mexico, however, experienced a soft market and operational setbacks, leading to reduced volumes in the network.

Adjusted EBITDA decreased 8% YoY to S/222 million, with a corresponding margin decrease of 1.1p.p. to 21.4%. The decrease was primarily due to low revenue growth in FXN and impairment losses of S/10 million in Colombia. Net income was S/38 million in Q1 2025, compared to a net loss of S/8 million in Q1 2024.

Auna's Executive Chairman and President, Mr. Suso Zamora, acknowledged the challenges faced, stating, "The results reflect a softer market in Monterrey and what we expect to be temporary operational setbacks there, as well as challenges remaining in Colombia. We know from experience in other markets that the implementation of the AunaWay, an ambitious and disruptive operating model, has challenges, principally the time it takes for doctors, nurses, and providers to adapt and make it their own." Peru continued to be a standout performer, demonstrating the strength of the company's integrated business model.

Looking ahead, Auna is taking corrective actions to address the current setbacks, focusing on deepening collaboration with insurers, improving physician recruitment, and advancing its strategy to introduce OncoSalud in Mexico. The company remains committed to disciplined execution of its growth strategy and delivering sustainable, long-term growth.
