Applied Materials Appoints Jim Anderson to Board of Directors with Over 25 Years of Tech Sector Experience

Applied Materials has appointed Jim Anderson to its board of directors, bringing over 25 years of experience in the technology sector and semiconductor ecosystem. Anderson has served as CEO of Coherent Corp. and previously held leadership positions at AMD, Broadcom, and LSI Corporation. He will serve on the Strategy and Investment Committee.

Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMAT) has announced the appointment of Jim Anderson to its Board of Directors and Strategy and Investment Committee [1]. Anderson, currently serving as CEO of Coherent Corp., brings over 25 years of experience in the technology sector and semiconductor ecosystem. His extensive background includes leadership roles at prominent technology companies, including serving as CEO of Lattice Semiconductor and Senior VP at AMD.

Anderson holds multiple advanced degrees from MIT, Purdue University, and the University of Minnesota, and serves on the MIT Sloan School of Management Americas Executive Board and the US-Japan Business Council. He previously held various leadership positions at Intel, Broadcom (formerly Avago Technologies Limited), and LSI Corporation.
