Apple has recently introduced new models of its popular iPad and iPad Air, marking significant advancements in its tablet lineup. The base iPad now features the A16 chip, previously seen in the iPhone 15, although it lacks support for
Intelligence features. The iPad Air, on the other hand, receives a substantial upgrade with the M3 chip and enhanced artificial intelligence capabilities.The new iPad Air will be available for pre-order starting March 12, with a starting price of $599 for the 64GB model. The entry-level iPad also receives an update, with improved performance and a starting price of $349. Both devices will be released on March 12.
The iPad Air features an 11- or 13-inch Liquid Retina display, powered by the M3 chip, and includes Apple Intelligence, a 12MP Center Stage front camera, and support for the Apple Pencil Pro. It is available in two sizes and four finishes, with pricing starting at $599 for the 11-inch model and $799 for the 13-inch model.
Apple's announcement of the new iPad and iPad Air comes with a promotional offer, allowing customers to save up to $100 on select iPad models. The new iPad Air is set to roll out in just a few weeks, following the conclusion of pre-orders.
