Rumors have resurfaced about Apple's exploration into the realm of robotics, with the tech giant reportedly considering the development of humanoid and non-humanoid robots for its smart home ecosystem. The speculation was fueled by a tweet from Ming-Chi Kuo, a renowned Apple analyst at TF International Securities, who hinted at the company's interest in the field.
While many industry observers are skeptical about the possibility of Apple introducing a humanoid robot in the near future, Kuo's tweet has sparked excitement and anticipation. The company's TV series, "Sunny," which features an Apple-like home robot, has further fueled speculation. However, the form that Apple's first robot offering might take remains a topic of debate. Kuo used the term "anthropomorphic" instead of "humanoid," suggesting that the company's robot roadmap might launch with something that performs human chores without resembling Sunny.
