Apple Plans Major Product Launch Wave in 2026 to Boost Revenue

Apple is planning to release a series of new products in the first half of 2026, including a new entry-level iPhone, multiple iPad models, and upgraded Mac products. This aggressive product launch strategy aims to help Apple return to a more stable revenue growth trajectory. The company has faced challenges in recent years, including sluggish demand and a slower pace of new product releases, which have impacted its revenue growth. The upcoming product launches are seen as a crucial step in revitalizing Apple's income.

Apple's new entry-level iPhone, codenamed iPhone 17e, is expected to be a rapid iteration of the 16e model released earlier this year. This new device will feature the same A19 processor as the iPhone 17 series, marking a shift towards an annual update cycle for the entry-level iPhone line. This change contrasts with the previous strategy for the iPhone SE series, which saw only two updates since its debut in 2016.

In the tablet market, Apple plans to comprehensively update its iPad lineup to maintain its market leadership. The new entry-level iPad, priced at 349 dollars, is expected to be released in March or April 2026. This model will feature a faster chip, replacing the current A16 processor. The iPad Air is also set to receive an upgrade from the M3 chip to the M4 chip, with other changes being minimal. The new iPad Air is expected to launch around the same time as the entry-level iPad.

Apple's Mac product line is also set for updates. The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, originally planned for release later this year, are now targeted for early 2026. These models will feature the M5 chip and are expected to be the last in the current design. Future MacBook Pro models will adopt a new design and transition to OLED screens, a technology already used in iPhone and iPad Pro models. Additionally, a new MacBook Air is planned for release in the first half of 2026, along with a new external display, codenamed J427, scheduled for release in early 2026.

Apple is also advancing its smart home hub project, codenamed J490. Originally planned for release in March 2025, the device's launch has been delayed due to the postponement of the new Siri voice assistant features. The smart home hub is now expected to be released in the first half of 2026, becoming part of Apple's product launch wave for that year.
