Apple Explores Amazon's Trainium2 in Bold AI Move to Rival NVIDIA Dominance

Apple Inc. (AAPL.US) recently disclosed its strategic use of Amazon Web Services (AWS) proprietary AI chips at the AWS re:Invent conference. Notably, Apple is evaluating Amazon's newest AI chip, Trainium2, for pre-training its AI models like Apple Intelligence. Benoit Dupin, Apple's Senior Director of Machine Learning and AI, highlighted the robust relationship between the two tech giants, underscoring AWS's reliable infrastructure and global reach.

During the event, Apple elaborated on its decade-long collaboration with AWS, utilizing services that power Siri, Apple Maps, and Apple Music.
