Apple announced new iMac, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro models featuring the M4 chip series with enhancements beyond processors. The iMac now includes the M4 chip, offering improved performance and new color options. The Mac mini boasts a smaller footprint and enhanced connectivity, featuring M4 and M4 Pro chips. The new MacBook Pro models come with M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips, improving performance and battery life, and offering a new Space Black color option. The MacBook Air lineup now starts with 16GB of RAM, doubling the previous base configuration, with no price increase.

The new MacBook Pro models feature longer battery life, reaching up to 24 hours, the longest ever in a Mac. Nano-texture display options are available for the first time on an Apple laptop, reducing glare and distractions from reflections. Apple's new MacBook Pro models also include an upgraded 12-megapixel front camera with Center Stage and Desk View support, enhancing video quality in various lighting conditions.

All new MacBook Pro and iMac models have a 12MP front camera with Center Stage and Desk View support, improving video quality in challenging lighting conditions. New Magic accessories with USB-C ports and Thunderbolt 5 cables are also available. The MacBook Pro models have a peak display brightness of 1,000 nits for standard content in bright outdoor lighting, improved from the previous 600 nits. The MacBook Pro models are available to pre-order now and will launch on November 8.

Apple's new M4 Max chip offers significant performance boosts, with a 16-core CPU and 40-core GPU, providing up to 3.5x the performance of the M1 Max. The chip supports Thunderbolt 5, offering up to 120Gb/s data transfer capability. The new MacBook Pro models are available with the M4, M4 Pro, or M4 Max chips, offering enhanced features and configurations.

Apple introduced the M4 chip in the new iMac, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro models, offering improved performance and features. The new M4 Macs continue to use Wi-Fi 6E, with no upgrade to Wi-Fi 7, unlike the iPhone 16 models. The absence of Wi-Fi 7 in Macs is surprising given the iPhone 16's Wi-Fi 7 capabilities, but Apple limits the bandwidth to 160MHz, not fully utilizing Wi-Fi 7.

Apple's Vision Pro will launch in South Korea and the United Arab Emirates on November 15, with pre-orders starting November 4. The Vision Pro, initially released in the U.S., is now available in 12 countries and regions. Apple's CEO acknowledges the Vision Pro as an early-adopter product due to its high price. Proton released a native Apple TV app for VPN services, also compatible with Apple Vision Pro, allowing users to access geo-restricted content with privacy.
