Apple is anticipated to unveil a gold finish for the iPhone 16 Pro models, marking a return to the color option that was absent in the iPhone 15 Pro lineup. This change is expected to replace the Blue Titanium finish.

Spotify users on iPhone will no longer be able to control connected devices' volume with physical buttons due to Apple's technology discontinuation. Instead, users must use an in-app slider, effective from September 3. Spotify claims this restriction might violate the EU's Digital Markets Act.

Apple's next-generation CarPlay, first previewed in 2022, is expected to launch in 2024. It will offer deeper integration with vehicle controls and multiple dashboard displays.

Apple Intelligence features are set to debut with iOS 18.1, expected in late October. These include generative AI tools for text generation, suggested replies, and photo editing features, requiring iPhone 15 Pro or later models.

Apple's annual iPhone event will be on September 9, where the iPhone 16 lineup and other products like the Apple Watch Series 10 and AirPods 4 are expected to be unveiled.
