Apple will hold its annual fall event on September 9, where it is expected to unveil the iPhone 16 lineup. This includes the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, featuring larger displays, vertical camera layouts, and various other upgrades.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will have larger displays at 6.27 and 6.86 inches, respectively, making them the largest iPhones ever.

The iPhone 16 base models will feature a vertical camera layout, expected to enable Spatial Video recording.

All iPhone 16 models are rumored to have larger batteries, with the iPhone 16 Pro seeing the biggest improvement.

A new "Capture Button" will be added to all iPhone 16 models, allowing for advanced image and video capture capabilities.

The iPhone 16 Pro models will have a 48-megapixel Ultra Wide camera lens for improved low-light photos and 48-megapixel ProRAW photos.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max could feature a super telephoto periscope camera for dramatically increased optical zoom.

The iPhone 16 Pro models are expected to support Wi-Fi 7, while the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will support Wi-Fi 6E.

All iPhone 16 models will be equipped with next-generation A18 chips, with potential differentiation between standard and Pro models.

The iPhone 16 Pro models will use Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon X75 modem for faster 5G speeds.

Both iPhone 16 Pro models are expected to feature 5x optical zoom with Apple's tetraprism lens system.

Apple is considering using micro-lens technology to improve OLED display brightness or reduce power consumption on iPhone 16 models.

The Action Button feature from the iPhone 15 Pro will be expanded to the standard iPhone 16 models.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will support 40W wired fast charging and 20W MagSafe charging.

Apple's iPhone 16 microphone will be upgraded for improved Siri and Apple Intelligence features.

A graphene thermal system may be used in the iPhone 16 lineup to reduce overheating issues.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will offer up to 2TB storage, using higher-density QLC NAND flash.

The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models will feature 8GB of RAM, an increase over the 6GB in the iPhone 15 models.

The upgraded Neural Engine in the A18 chips will enhance machine learning and Apple Intelligence features.

Apple plans to use ultra-thin bezel technology to maximize display size on the iPhone 16 series.

The iPhone 16 Pro models will feature a new polished titanium finish, more resistant to scratches.

Apple is testing a new anti-reflective optical coating to reduce lens flare and photo artifacts in the iPhone 16 cameras.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will come in new colors, including a potential rose or rose gold titanium option.

【iPad】

Apple is working on a new low-end Magic Keyboard for the iPad, aimed at the entry-level iPad or iPad Air, expected to launch by mid-2025. The new keyboard will lack an aluminum top case but may feature a function row.

【Mac】

Apple is expected to announce new Mac models with M4-series chips in November 2024. These include updated 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, an iMac, and a redesigned Mac mini.

The redesigned Mac mini will feature five USB-C ports but no USB-A ports, with a design similar to the Mac Studio and a slightly taller aluminum shell. The new Mac mini will begin shipping in early September for the M4 chip variant and October for the M4 Pro model.
