Apple (AAPL.US) rose over 2.5% to a new record high, quietly launching the iPad mini 7

Apple (AAPL.US) opened higher on Tuesday and continued to rise more than 2.5%, hitting a new record high, with its total market value exceeding US$3.6 trillion. As of the time of writing, it rose 2.45% to US$236.96. On the news front, Apple quietly released the iPad mini 7 on the evening of October 15, equipped with the A17 Pro chip, with artificial intelligence capabilities and support for Apple Pencil Pro. This release marks the first upgrade of the series since the launch of the iPad mini 6 in September 2021. The iPad mini 7 will be available for pre-order at 9:00 am on October 17, with a formal release date set for October 23.
