Apple (AAPL.US) is reportedly planning to release the M4 Mac and new iPad in October.

Zhitong Finance learned that Apple (AAPL.US) may hold another event in October to release new Macs and iPads, following the release of new iPhones, Apple watches and AirPods this month. The insiders said that Apple plans to announce the first M4 Macs and new entry-level iPads at its next event "in the coming weeks"; the MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini are expected to update the M4 series chips this year, followed by the MacBook Air, Mac Studio and Mac Pro in 2025.
The tech giant is developing a new low-end 14-inch version of the MacBook Pro notebook, which will be equipped with the M4 chip. Apple is also developing the 14-inch and 16-inch versions of the high-end MacBook Pro, which are both equipped with the M4Pro chip. It is also said that Apple is developing a new iMac equipped with the M4 chip, as well as a redesigned Mac mini equipped with the M4 and M4Pro chips.
Apple held an online event on October 30 last year to release new MacBook Pro and iMac models equipped with the M3 series chips.
