Apple's (AAPL.US) AI will support a variety of languages, including French and German, and launch in the EU in April.
Apple (AAPL.US) has announced that its personalized artificial intelligence system, Apple Intelligence, will be launched in several new languages and will eventually land in EU countries in April. The new languages include French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, and Chinese. It will also be launched in localized English in Singapore and India. The new languages will be released with a series of operating system updates, including iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4. These updates will be released to developers today. The update will also bring Apple Intelligence to iPhone and iPad users in EU countries for the first time. Apple Intelligence features will also be extended to Vision Pro. With the update, iPhone and iPad users in the EU will be able to use Apple Intelligence features for the first time. It's worth noting that Apple officially said that the launch time of Apple Intelligence in China depends on the approval of regulators. Even if Apple Intelligence supports Chinese, the Chinese version of iPhone may still have to wait for a while to use it.
