Anthropic Pre-IPO Tokens Push Onchain Valuation to $1 Trillion
Onchain traders on JupiterJUP--, Solana’s leading decentralized exchange aggregator, are pricing Anthropic at a $1 trillion implied valuation. This milestone is achieved through synthetic Prestocks tokens that track the company's private equity exposure. The move places Anthropic alongside OpenAI and SpaceX as the third private firm to cross the trillion-dollar threshold in these markets. Financial commentator Kobeissi Letter confirmed the valuation reached this level on April 27, 2026.
Why Is the Valuation Surging?
The surge in implied valuation is driven by explosive revenue growth and intense investor demand for artificial intelligence exposure. Annualized revenue climbed from $9 billion at the end of 2025 to over $30 billion by late April 2026. This expansion is primarily fueled by enterprise adoption of the Claude model family and major infrastructure commitments from tech giants.
Alphabet has announced plans to invest an additional $10 billion, with potential total investments reaching up to $40 billion. AmazonAMZN-- has also made significant commitments, including a $25 billion investment and long-term agreements tied to cloud infrastructure usage. Anthropic recently committed over $100 billion across the next decade to Amazon Web Services, securing up to 5 gigawatts of capacity for training and running AI models.

The synthetic token price has climbed 733% since October 2025, rising from roughly $122 to over $1,065 per token. This onchain price significantly exceeds the $380 billion post-money figure from Anthropic’s Series G round in February 2026. Forge Global confirmed similar demand, with shares hovering near $1 trillion and bids reaching $1.15 trillion.
What Are the Risks of These Tokens?
Significant risks remain attached to these onchain instruments, as they offer no legal ownership or rights. Prestocks tokens are SPL tokens minted at a 1:1 ratio to Special Purpose Vehicle exposure but provide no voting rights or dividends. Anthropic explicitly bans SPV and tokenized share transfers, warning that these instruments may carry no legal value and could be fraudulent.
The onchain market is characterized by thin liquidity, with approximately 9,000 tokens in circulation. Top wallets control over 50% of the supply, leading to sharp price volatility and discounts to oracle marks. While banking analysts model an IPO value closer to $400 to $500 billion, the onchain market reflects a speculative premium driven by limited supply.
Investor sentiment is further bolstered by reported revenue growth, rising from $9 billion at the end of 2025 to over $30 billion by March 2026. This rapid increase in commercial adoption has contributed to heightened activity in secondary markets. Despite rising speculation and prediction markets pricing in a potential public listing by early 2027, no official IPO date or S-1 filing has been announced.
How Does This Affect the Broader Market?
The valuation spike occurs against a backdrop of broader market volatility and structural headwinds. Goldman Sachs expects approximately 100 IPOs to raise $160 billion in 2026, a reduction from its prior forecast of 120 deals. While U.S. offerings have raised about $14 billion so far in 2026, recent equity market volatility and geopolitical uncertainty are tempering expectations.
Roughly 20% of the IPO backlog since 2025 is concentrated in software companies, which could act as a headwind if investor appetite remains selective. Execution conditions remain uneven across sectors, and uncertainty around timing introduces two-sided risks for large private companies. The pace of IPO activity will depend on market stability, investor demand, and the speed at which large deals come to market.
Meanwhile, competition in the AI sector continues to intensify, with OpenAI also reaching an implied $1 trillion valuation through similar onchain instruments. OpenAI’s revenue grew from about $200 million in 2022 to more than $10 billion in 2025, driven by ChatGPT’s massive user base. In contrast, Anthropic is navigating challenges related to pricing transparency for its Claude Code tools, which has allowed competitors to steer attention toward their own offerings.
