In 2024, American Express acquired dining technology platform Rooam and reservation platform Tock, adding 7,000 new restaurants and venues to the American Express Global Dining network. Toast, a leading restaurant technology platform, has been empowering restaurants for over a decade with innovative solutions such as Digital Chits, Menu Upsells, and Advertising powered by ToastIQ, its intelligence engine.
The collaboration will enable restaurants to create more seamless and personalized hospitality experiences by combining Resy and Tock's guestbook capabilities with Toast's Digital Chits technology. This integration will allow restaurant staff to easily view important customer information directly on Toast Go handhelds and POS terminals during service.
