American Express Honours 20 Restaurants in Toronto and Montreal with $20,000 Grants for Community Impact

American Express and the International Downtown Association Foundation have announced the 20 grantees of the 2025 Backing International Small Restaurants program in Canada, honoring restaurants that make a positive impact in their local communities. Each restaurant will receive a $20,000 CAD grant for critical improvements, supporting long-term growth. Globally, the initiative will award over $1.4 million to 97 small and independently owned restaurants across 14 cities.
