Kehoe has requested a federal Emergency Declaration to support state response operations and expedite federal assistance.The federal Emergency Declaration, if approved, would provide an immediate infusion of funds to support emergency protective measures and debris removal. Additionally, Kehoe has requested joint Preliminary Damage Assessments to prepare for a federal Major Disaster Declaration, which would provide Individual Assistance to homeowners and renters, and Public Assistance to local governments for emergency response costs and infrastructure repair.
