Amazon (AMZN.US) has announced that its Prime Day member sale, "Prime Big Deal Days," will take place in October this year. The sale will begin at 15:01 Beijing time on October 8 and last for two days, with early access to a range of holiday discounts. The event features up to 40% off seasonal essentials, including winter fashion, electronics, and Halloween costumes. Prime members can also enjoy other various benefits, such as free access to Amazon Music Unlimited and Grubhub+.

Amazon said it will offer 55% discounts on some first-party products, including Blink Outdoor 4 security cameras, Fire TV, Eero mesh Wi-Fi systems, and Luna cloud gaming service controllers. In addition, brands and vendors such as Lego, Fuji, Samsung, Beats will also offer their respective promotions on the eve of the event.

It is worth noting that Amazon's July Prime Day sale was a huge success, with record-breaking sales and increased participation from Prime members. Well-known brands such as Apple and Dyson, as well as small businesses such as TruSkin and Blueland, were particularly popular. Moreover, independent sellers made a significant contribution to the success of the event, selling over 200 million items.
