Amazon agreed to a $2.5 billion settlement with the FTC over allegations of enrolling customers in Prime subscriptions without their knowledge. Eligible customers must have been enrolled between June 2019 and June 2025 and tried to cancel. Payments will be divided into two phases, with some customers receiving automatic payments by Dec. 2025, and others can file claims by July 2026. Payouts are capped at $51.
