A US District Judge has certified a class-action lawsuit against Amazon, encompassing about 288 million Americans who purchased physical goods from third-party sellers on the platform. The lawsuit alleges Amazon forced customers to pay artificially inflated prices, violating federal price-fixing laws. The certification is the largest in US history, and Hagens Berman attorneys say it sends a message that Amazon is not above the law.
