Amazon Bedrock Introduces Cross-Region Inference for EU Data Processing and Model Access in Zurich

Amazon Bedrock introduces Cross-Region Inference (CRIS) for EU data processing and model access. CRIS routes inference requests across multiple AWS Regions to optimize performance and availability. The new feature is available in Europe/Zurich and offers benefits such as no additional charge for using cross-Region inference and price calculation based on the source Region. CRIS also enables customers to perform inference in other AWS EU Regions or globally, maintaining data sovereignty commitments and data protection.
