Crypto strategist Michaël van de Poppe has shared his outlook on several altcoins, including Ethereum rival Near (NEAR), payments altcoin XRP, smart contract platform Sui (SUI), and layer-1 altcoin Sonic (S).

Van de Poppe believes that NEAR is poised for a significant bullish phase, as it appears to be carving a cycle bottom. He suggests that the layer-1 protocol is in the final stages of its accumulation phase before a bull run begins. NEAR is currently trading at $3.45.

Turning to XRP, Van de Poppe notes that the coin has already experienced massive gains during this cycle, and any further upside potential may be limited. However, he acknowledges that XRP could still surprise the market with another big rally. At the time of writing, XRP is worth $2.57.

The analyst remains bullish on Sui (SUI) in the long term but warns that a drop to $1.50 is possible. He believes that a 9x rally is in the cards for SUI if it manages to initiate a real bull cycle. SUI is currently trading at $3.41.

Lastly, Van de Poppe highlights Sonic (S) as a solid uptrend with strong momentum on social media. He believes that the layer-1 altcoin will go beyond $1 and is a promising investment opportunity. S is currently trading at $0.86.
