Allspring Funds Announce Distributions, Portfolio Manager Changes Effective August 1.

Allspring Income Opportunities Fund, Allspring Multi-Sector Income Fund, and Allspring Utilities and High Income Fund have announced distributions. The Allspring Multi-Sector Income Fund will add Andrew Reed as a portfolio manager and remove Noah Wise on August 1, 2025. The investment strategy of the fund will not change. Distribution per share for each fund has increased.

Charlotte, N.C. — The Allspring Income Opportunities Fund (NYSE American: EAD), the Allspring Multi-Sector Income Fund (NYSE American: ERC), and the Allspring Utilities and High Income Fund (NYSE American: ERH) have each declared a monthly distribution for the month of July 2025. Additionally, the Allspring Multi-Sector Income Fund will be adding Andrew Reed, CFA, as a portfolio manager effective August 1, 2025, while Noah Wise, CFA, will be removed from the same fund.

Distribution Details

- Allspring Income Opportunities Fund (EAD): $0.05352 per share, a $0.00004 increase from the previous distribution.
- Allspring Multi-Sector Income Fund (ERC): $0.07221 per share, a $0.00002 increase from the previous distribution.
- Allspring Utilities and High Income Fund (ERH): $0.08135 per share, a $0.00073 increase from the previous distribution.

The distributions will be paid on September 2, 2025, following the ex-dividend date of August 11, 2025, and the record date of August 11, 2025.

Portfolio Manager Change

Andrew Reed, CFA, will join the Allspring Multi-Sector Income Fund as a portfolio manager on August 1, 2025, replacing Noah Wise, CFA. The investment strategy of the fund will remain unchanged. Reed brings extensive experience in U.S. investment grade credit management, having previously served as a portfolio manager at BMO Asset Management and a fixed income analyst at M&I Investment Management Corp.

Distribution Policy

The funds distribute a minimum of 8.00% for the Allspring Utilities and High Income Fund, 8.75% for the Allspring Income Opportunities Fund, and 8.75% for the Allspring Multi-Sector Income Fund annually. Distributions are sourced from income, capital gains, or paid-in capital. Investors should not use distributions as a measure of performance and should be aware that distributions exceeding fund returns may lead to a decline in the fund's net asset value (NAV).
