Alchemy Acquires HeyMint to Boost Smart Wallets and Web3 Accessibility

Alchemy, a leading blockchain development platform, has acquired HeyMint, a user-first NFT launchpad, to enhance and accelerate its Smart Wallets solution. This acquisition aims to simplify and scale user onboarding in the web3 ecosystem, making it more accessible and user-friendly.

Alchemy Smart Wallets, introduced earlier this year, are enterprise-grade, programmable smart contract wallets designed to facilitate frictionless onboarding, gasless transactions, enhanced security, and flexible authorization methods for both users and developers in the web3 space.

HeyMint's focus on accessibility and ease of use aligns perfectly with Alchemy's mission to onboard the next generation of users and technology companies to web3. The acquisition will integrate HeyMint's proven SDK and embeddable web3 engagement tools, enabling developers to seamlessly incorporate Smart Wallet functionality into various platforms, including apps, games, marketplaces, and loyalty programs.

HeyMint's no-code tools have already served over 1 million users and supported more than 40,000 creators in generating $38 million in NFT sales. The platform has powered web3 campaigns for global brands such as MasterCard, Ubisoft, Universal Music Group, and The Sandbox.

The acquisition also brings on HeyMint co-founder and CTO Flor Ronsmans De Vry, a veteran web3 developer and founder of blockchain automation firm Fuse Robotics. Ronsmans De Vry expressed excitement about joining Alchemy, stating that the partnership will allow them to scale their vision of making web3 accessible to everyone and providing secure, user-first onboarding to every developer and project.

This acquisition marks Alchemy's second strategic move this month, following the acquisition of DexterLab, a top Solana infrastructure provider trusted by firms like Google and the Solana Foundation.
