Al Kelley, a 64-year-old Londoner, was remembered as a well-loved member of the downtown street community. He was a regular volunteer with 519 Pursuit, a non-profit group that delivers meals and provides outreach support to people who sleep outside. Kelley experienced homelessness himself and took time to help others in similar situations. He was remembered as a man with empathy and a strong sense of community, who would often go without food himself to help those in need. Kelley died suddenly on May 24 due to streptococcal toxic shock syndrome.
