Akave Cloud Launches Decentralized Storage Platform on Avalanche Layer 1

Akave Cloud, a decentralized storage network, has launched its innovative platform on a dedicated Avalanche Layer 1 blockchain. This new decentralized data layer, known as Akave Cloud, is designed to cater to the needs of decentralized AI, Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN), and compliance-focused Software as a Service (SaaS) applications. Unlike traditional cloud services, Akave Cloud anchors all storage logic—including uploads, reads, and permissions—directly to smart contracts, ensuring that every interaction is recorded on-chain. This approach provides tamper-proof audit trails and full data sovereignty without compromising performance or usability.

The platform is already being utilized by several teams, including Intuizi, The Defiant, and Heurist.ai. Additionally, Akave offers a hosted deployment option, which can achieve up to 80% cost savings compared to traditional cloud providers while preserving the benefits of on-chain transparency and control.

As a Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN), Akave allows anyone to contribute resources and earn rewards by providing bandwidth, compute, or storage. Participants can run nodes to support uptime or launch regional Avalanche L1s tailored for specific governance and compliance needs.
