A new report from Samsara (IOT) shows that AI-driven safety solutions have created significant financial and safety improvements in the logistics industry. The analysis of anonymized data from thousands of fleets worldwide found a 73% reduction in crash rates, as well as a 48% decrease in harsh events, an 84% decrease in mobile usage while driving, and a 4% decrease in speeding. These improvements are both immediate and continuous, with even greater gains at the 30-month mark. This report highlights AI's real-world application and tangible returns in the transportation and logistics sector.
