The long-term bull case has not disappeared. SK Hynix's management still says demand will remain higher than our supply capacity even beyond 2030. If AI builders still cannot get enough high-end memory quickly enough, the profit story can keep going.
The bear case, though, is largely about timing. After one of the broadest semiconductor rallies in decades, even major winners have had to absorb sharp reversals, with MicronMU-- falling -33% from its peak while other storage names dropped 34% to 50%.
