Afghanistan's Ministry of Energy and Water has signed a $10 billion agreement with a domestic private company to generate 10,000 MW of electricity across the country. The deal aims to develop power generation projects using solar, coal, hydro, wind, and gas sources. The project, set to be implemented over six years, will enhance the national electricity supply and reduce power shortages, particularly in industrial and residential areas.
