Aehr Test Systems has secured major orders from a prominent customer in the artificial intelligence processor sector for eight of their Sonoma ultra-high-power systems. The systems will be used for volume production testing and burn-in processes for AI processors. The customer is a leading hyperscaler that provides extensive computing power and storage solutions globally. Delivery of the advanced systems is scheduled over the next six months.

FREMONT, CA — Aehr Test Systems (NASDAQ: AEHR) has secured significant follow-on orders from a leading hyperscaler customer for eight of their Sonoma ultra-high-power systems. These systems will be utilized for volume production testing and burn-in processes for artificial intelligence (AI) processors. The customer, a global leader in providing extensive computing power and storage solutions, has indicated plans to ramp up production of their AI processors over the next year.

The systems, which feature advanced Burn-in Modules (BIMs) equipped with active liquid-cooled temperature control, will ship from Aehr's high-volume production facility in Fremont, California, over the next six months. The Sonoma systems are designed to support power dissipation of up to 2000W per device, enabling high-current power delivery, real-time execution of dynamic test parameters, and continuous device output monitoring at elevated temperatures.

This order represents a more than doubling of production systems with this customer, according to Gayn Erickson, President and CEO of Aehr Test Systems. The company has demonstrated its ability to seamlessly transition from reliability characterization and qualification of AI processors to production burn-in and early-life failure screening, thereby reducing costs and accelerating time to market for its customers.

Aehr's Sonoma systems offer several technological and commercial advantages over other available solutions, including streamlined architecture, superior footprint optimization, and advanced testing functionality at the "Device Under Test" (DUT) level. The systems also feature dedicated per DUT digital I/O pins and precision power delivery, ensuring high performance and efficiency.

The AI semiconductor processor market is growing rapidly, with Strategy and Stats (S&S) Insider projecting a tenfold increase in market value from over $60 billion in 2023 to more than $600 billion by 2032, at a CAGR of nearly 30 percent. The market is evolving rapidly, with a shift from general-purpose GPU-based processors to application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) designed for specialized functions. Aehr's comprehensive portfolio of reliability test and burn-in solutions tailored for AI semiconductors positions the company to capture a significant share of this growing market.

Aehr Test Systems has installed thousands of systems worldwide and continues to innovate, developing and introducing new products such as the FOX-PTM families of test and burn-in systems and the FOX WaferPakTM Aligner. The company's acquisition of Incal Technology, Inc., further strengthens its position in the AI market, providing high-power packaged part reliability/burn-in test solutions for AI semiconductor manufacturers.
