Advance voting is underway in the provincial byelection in Arthabaska, Quebec, ahead of the August 11 election. Ten candidates are vying for the seat previously held by the governing Coalition Avenir Québec. The main contenders are Conservative Party of Quebec leader Eric Duhaime and Parti Québécois candidate Alex Boissonneault. The byelection was triggered by the departure of Eric Lefebvre, who won the seat in October 2022 with 51.75% of the votes.
