Adam Selipsky Joins KKR as Senior Advisor to Address AI Infrastructure Challenges

KKR has appointed former AWS CEO Adam Selipsky as Senior Technology and AI Strategy Advisor to address the unique infrastructure challenges of AI workloads. Traditional cloud infrastructure was designed for predictable enterprise applications, but AI training runs consume power at maximum capacity for extended periods, while inference workloads create traffic spikes that overwhelm network capacity. KKR has committed $42 billion to digital infrastructure and operates 155+ data centre facilities with a 15GW development pipeline.
