The region has established itself as the fastest-growing AI center in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), leading in AI-driven enterprises, innovation, and research on a global scale.
Supporting this growth is a robust ecosystem of institutions and organizations, including the AI and Advanced Technology Committee (AIATC), the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC), the Technology Innovation Institute (TII), and various state-owned companies and investment firms such as AI71, Hub71, G42, and Space42. These entities are responsible for formulating and implementing policies related to AI and advanced technologies, ensuring that Abu Dhabi sets global standards for strategic AI applications.
The unique advantage of Abu Dhabi's AI industry lies in the close collaboration between the government and enterprises, global giants and emerging innovators, and research and industry. The Chamber of Commerce continues to strengthen these connections, aiming to create a supportive environment for innovation and prosperity. The core driver of this transformation is the Chamber's 2025-2028 strategic roadmap, which focuses on optimizing the business environment, policy advocacy, and ecosystem integration. A dedicated AI and Technology Advocacy Group, comprising industry leaders, is actively shaping Abu Dhabi's AI blueprint, reinforcing the region's unique competitive advantage as a center for innovation and enterprise.
