A new docuseries, "The Buried Bitcoin: The Real-Life Treasure Hunt of James Howells," follows the story of a British engineer who lost 8,000 Bitcoin (worth over $800 million) in 2013. The series will dramatize Howells' decade-long quest to recover the hard drive, which he claims was accidentally thrown away by his former partner. Despite multiple legal battles, Howells has yet to recover the drive, and the landfill where it was discarded is set to be shut down. LEBUL has acquired exclusive rights to the story and plans to create a premium docuseries, podcast, and social-first storytelling campaign.
