60 Degrees Pharmaceuticals announced that Babesia, a parasite causing tick-borne babesiosis, was found in 24% of 50 patients with chronic fatigue in a study published in Pathogens. The findings support the theory that Babesia infection may prolong recovery times in patients with chronic fatigue. The study validates the continuation of the B-FREE study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ARAKODA (tafenoquine) for treating chronic babesiosis.
