60 Degrees Pharmaceuticals has introduced an 8-count bottle format for ARAKODA (tafenoquine) for malaria prevention. The new format is suitable for trips of one week or less and is now available through major retail pharmacies. ARAKODA is the only weekly prophylactic therapy to provide protection against all stages of malaria. It is indicated for patients 18 years and older and is contraindicated for G6PD deficiency, breastfeeding by a lactating woman with a G6PD deficient infant, or known hypersensitivity reactions.
