49,000 Electric Chainsaws and Pole Saws Recalled Over Switch Failure Hazard

Positec Tool Corporation has issued a recall for around 49,000 electric-corded chainsaws and pole saws due to a risk of switch failure and laceration hazard. The affected products were sold at Walmart, Harbor Freight, and through Worx and Amazon's websites. Consumers can identify the recalled saws using the item numbers, SKUs, UPCs, serial numbers, and manufacturing periods listed in the recall notice. Positec is offering a replacement saw after consumers return the recalled one.
