374Water Inc. has been awarded a project to remove PFAS from biosolids and water treatment residuals for the City of St. Cloud, Minnesota. The project is funded by the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources and the State's Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund. The AirSCWO 1 System will be used to treat undigested and post-thermal hydrolysis digested biosolids, as well as spent granular activated carbon. The project aims to evaluate the efficiency of PFAS destruction and explore options for disposing of or repurposing treated water and solids.
