A Better Tent City's Volunteer Leader Moves On Amidst Name Change and Restructuring

Nadine Green, co-founder of Kitchener's A Better Tent City, has moved out of the community citing stress and disagreement over recent changes. The organization, which has 42 homes and 50 residents, has been taken over by the Region of Waterloo and The Working Centre. Green felt that the dissolution of the volunteer board and the implementation of a no-visitor policy forced her to leave. The community is now called Cabins on Ardelt.
