Petronas Carigali, Partners Seal New PSC for MTJDA Block A-18-01

Petronas Carigali and partners have secured a new production sharing contract (PSC) for Block A-18-01 in the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Area (MTJDA). The 35-year term contract, commencing from January 1, 2026, encompasses both the existing Block A-18 area and an adjacent exploration area, providing an integrated platform to sustain production, unlock further resource potential and optimize long-term development. The approval of the new PSC reinforces the shared commitment between Malaysia and Thailand to maximize value through enhanced resource monetization and operational synergies.
