Osisko Gold Proceeds with Cariboo Gold Project Construction

Osisko Gold's Board of Directors has made a formal construction decision for the Cariboo Gold Project, with a first gold pour expected in Q1 2029 and commercial production in H2 2029. A US$30 million strategic private placement from Trafigura and a concentrate and doré off-take deal have been secured. The project's completion is estimated at 22% as of July 31, 2026, with detailed engineering at 40% completion and procurement for long-lead items at 44%. The go-forward capital obligation for the project is $990 million, supported by total available and proposed estimated sources of capital of up to $1,637 million.
