Oracle Corporation: Project Jupiter remains on schedule, and we continue to work closely with our partners to move the project forward

Oracle Corporation continues to advance Project Jupiter, its AI data center initiative in Doña Ana County, New Mexico, with construction progressing on schedule. The project has undergone significant updates to its energy infrastructure, including a shift from gas turbines and diesel generators to Bloom Energy fuel cell technology, which will provide up to 2.45 GW of installed capacity. This change is expected to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by approximately 92% and significantly lower water consumption compared to the original plan.

In addition to energy improvements, Project Jupiter has launched a water conservation initiative in partnership with Arable, an agricultural technology firm. The program aims to conserve 21 million gallons of water annually in the Rio Grande-Bravo watershed—more than 20 times the amount used by the data center’s operations. The initiative supports local farmers by providing real-time data and training to optimize irrigation practices, with an independent third-party assessor validating the results.

The project is also delivering substantial economic benefits, including $4.7 billion in total economic impact, 7,000 construction jobs, and 1,500 ongoing positions. Oracle remains committed to covering all energy costs for the facility, ensuring no impact on local electricity rates or grid stability. The company continues to collaborate with BorderPlex Digital Assets and local stakeholders to advance infrastructure and clean energy opportunities in the region.
