NCER Aims for RM470bil Investment by 2030, Up 70% from Previous Target

The Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER) aims to achieve a cumulative investment of RM470 billion by 2030, with 70% contributed by key sectors such as electrical and electronics, automotive, high-value tourism, and modern agriculture. The new plan also targets a GDP of RM369 billion, creation of 310,000 quality jobs, and a median household income of RM7,500. This plan is a catalyst for driving NCER as a leader in high-value industrial investments and a global hub for research and innovation.
