Jette Nygaard-Andersen joins LivanoVA board as a new director

Jette Nygaard-Andersen, a seasoned executive with extensive experience in global technology-enabled consumer businesses, has joined the board of LivaNova as a new director. Known for her leadership in transformation, digital innovation, and corporate governance, Nygaard-Andersen brings a wealth of expertise to the medical technology firm. She has previously served as CEO of Entain plc and held leadership roles at MTG AB, as well as executive positions at Accenture Inc and Maersk AS.

Nygaard-Andersen’s appointment follows her departure from Entain in 2024, where she led the company through a significant transformation, including responsible operations and enhanced governance. Her tenure at Entain was marked by strategic realignment, technological modernization, and a renewed focus on customer-centric operations.

As a non-executive director at LivaNova, Nygaard-Andersen will contribute to the board’s strategic direction and governance. Her background in scaling global operations and navigating complex regulatory environments is expected to provide valuable insight as LivaNova continues to expand its medical technology presence. Notably, this is her first public board appointment since leaving Entain, and she will hold no other board positions during her tenure.
